BackgroundThis study aimed to examine different trajectories of physical symptoms in hip and knee arthroplasty patients from presurgery 1 year postsurgery relate this preoperative anxiety depressive symptoms.MethodsPatients (N = 345) completed the Hip injury Osteoarthritis Outcome Score or Knee their postoperative pain, stiffness, function, presurgery, 3, 6, 12 months postsurgery. Presurgery were assessed using 7-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale 9-item Patient Health Questionnaire. Latent trajectory analysis was used identify subgroups trajectories. The step-3 method assess subgroup characteristics.ResultsThe effect time on stiffness between patients. belonged mainly classes with least improvement.
